Guildhall of Corpus Christi, Suffolk

The Guildhall of Corpus Christi is a 16th-century timber-framed guildhall in Lavenham, Suffolk. The Guild of Corpus Christi formed in 1529 at a time when the woollen cloth trade had made Lavenham one of richest towns in England. Their guildhall features extensive use of jettied timber framing and featured a gabled porch projecting from the centre of the building on the north-west elevation. It is in the care of the National Trust. It is within the council area of Babergh (Suffolk).
