Grimspound, Devon

Grimspound is a partly enclosed stone hut circle settlement and field system, situated between Hookney Tor and Hameldown Tor on Dartmoor, Devon. The enclosure survives as a stone and earth wall measuring about 10ft wide, standing up to 4ft high, surrounding an internal ovoid area of around 4 acres. This contains at least 24 stone hut circles, along with several lynchets and rubble banks. The monument is within the council area of Teignbridge (Devon).
