Greyfriars Monastery, Kent
Greyfriars Monastery is a former Franciscan friary in Canterbury, Kent. The friary was founded in 1224, rebuilt between 1267 and 1325 and dissolved in 1538. The former gatehouse survived, being restored in the 20th century and now known as Greyfriars Chapel. The remnants of the friary church were incorporated into the eastern boundary of the Franciscan Gardens site. The monument is within the council area of Canterbury (Kent).
