Greenhithe, Kent
Greenhithe is a village in Kent, on the south bank of the River Thames. The village waterfront was once lined with wharves for transshipping corn, wood and other commodities. It was a tourist resort in the Victorian era. Ingress Abbey is a Neo-gothic Jacobean-style country house built in 1833 on the site of an earlier Palladian-style house. It is within the council area of Dartford (Kent).
