Green Howe, Yorkshire

Green Howe is a prehistoric bowl barrow on the north of the Hambleton Hills, near Chop Gate, Yorkshire, in the North Riding. The barrow has an earth and stone mound standing 5ft high. It is round in shape and 33ft in diameter. In the centre of the mound is a slight depression resulting from investigations of the mound in the past. On the centre of the mound is a boundary stone 3ft high. It is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
