Great Stretton, Leicestershire

Great Stretton is a hamlet in Leicestershire. The present-day hamlet of Great Stretton comprises two properties on the Gartree Road along with the mediæval church of St Giles. The deserted mediæval village of Great Stretton (Stretton Magna), of which St Giles was the parish church, lies to the south of the Gartree Road. It is within the council area of Harborough (Leicestershire).
