Great Burgh, Surrey

Great Burgh (or Burgh Head) is a suburban village in Surrey. Until the end of the 19th century it was a small hamlet on land which was part of Banstead Heath. It developed into a small village in the early part of the 20th century, seeing large-scale suburban development later in the century. It is within the council area of Reigate and Banstead (Surrey).
