Graymount House, Antrim

Graymount House is a Regency-style gentleman’s mansion, located in Greencastle, County Antrim. It is within the townland of Green Castle, in the civil parish of Shankill. It was built around 1835 to the designs of Thomas Jackson, as a residence for the linen merchant William Gray. It has formed part of a school since the 1940s but retains much of its original character including fine neo-Classical detailing, rusticated walling and Greek entrance portico. It is within the council area of Belfast.
