Grangetown, Yorkshire
Grangetown is an industrial village in Yorkshire, in the North Riding. It lies on the south bank of the River Tees, east of South Bank. Grangetown was developed following the discovery of Ironstone in the nearby Eston Hills and the development of iron and steel making along the riverbank. It is within the council area of Redcar and Cleveland.
