Graig Fawr Camp, Radnorshire

Graig Fawr Camp is a prehistoric hillfort near Frank’s Bridge, Radnorshire. The hillfort occupies the leading southern knoll of a prominent ridge, looking out across the marshy lowlands of the Edw valley on the south and south-east sides. Its gateway overlooks and commands a gap through the rocky ridge on its north side. In recent centuries a rabbit warren comprising several pillow mounds was constructed within and around the hillfort earthworks. The site is within the council area of Powys.
