Glenshesk, Antrim

Glenshesk is one of the nine Glens of Antrim in County Antrim. It is within the townlands of Drumavoley, Mullarts, Drumeeny, Mullarts, Ballyveely, Tavnaghboy, Kilrobert, Clare Mountain, Aghaleck, Doonfin and Ardagh, all in the civil parish of Romoan; and within the townlands of Drumahaman, Drumahitt, Brackney, Ballyberidagh South, Coolaveely, Broughmore, Craigban, Ducarbit, Greenan, Tenaghs and Ardaghmore, all within the civil parish of Culfeightrin. The Glenshesk River flows though the glen, which was shaped by glacial erosion. The glen lies on the eastern side of Knocklayde mountain and the river flows out to the sea at Ballycastle. The glen is within the council area of Causeway Coast and Glens.
