Glenmachan Tower House, Down

Glenmachan Tower House is a Victorian Italianate two-storey mansion, with a three-storey attached tower, situated within the townland of Ballymaghan, in the civil parish of Holywood, County Down. It was built in 1862 to designs by the Belfast-based architect Thomas Jackson, also its first occupant. It was converted into a nursing home in 1992. The house is within the council area of Belfast.
