Glenganagh, Down

Glenganagh is an early 19th-century dower house, located on the eastern side of Ballyholme Bay, County Down. It is within the townland of Ballymacormick, in the civil parish of Bangor. The house was built for the Dufferin family of Clandeboye around 1815. Around 1850, it was extended in a distinctive Gothic-revival style to form a modest country house enhanced by ornate Victorian cast-iron conservatories. The house displays high levels of craftsmanship and high-quality detailing throughout. The house is within the council area of Ards and North Down.
