Glenaan, Antrim
Glenaan is one of the nine Glens of Antrim in County Antrim. It is within townlands of Eshery, Glenaan, Falmacrilly, Lubitavish, Tavnaghoney, Tirkilly, Tavnaghdrissagh, Cloghy East, Tavnaghowen, Tavnaghan, Cloghs and Cushendall, all in the civil parish of Layd. Known for its lush scenery, the Glenann River flows through the glen, originating from the highest peak on the Antrim Plateau, Trostan, before joining the Ballyeamon River near Cushendall. The glen is within the council area of Causeway Coast and Glens.
