Gill Hall Estate, Down
The Gill Hall Estate in a historic estate, situated near Dromore, County Down. The estate was established by Captain John Magill, who commenced building Gill Hall around 1670. From the mid 18th century, the estate was inherited by Sir John Meade, 1st Earl of Clanwilliam through his marriage to Theodosia Hawkins-Magill. The 5th Earl abandoned the house in 1910 and it was demolished in 1969. The historic stable block and bridge remain. The estate is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
