Giant's Quoit, Cornwall

Giant's Quoit (aka Carwynnen Quoit) is a Neolithic portal dolmen, a single-chamber megalithic tomb, located near Carwynnen, Cornwall. The dolmen stands to a height of 5ft with a capstone measuring approximately 11ft long by 8ft wide and 1ft thick. The polmen collapsed in 1815, It was rebuilt by Lady Pendarves but collapsed again in 1967. It was rebuilt in 2014 following excavations. It is within the council area of Cornwall.
