MenuGiant's Grave, Wiltshire
Giant's Grave is a promontory fort near Oare, Wiltshire. It is situated on the summit of an extremely narrow and steeply sloping ridge called Martinshell Hill overlooking the Vale of Pewsey. The promontory fort survives as a triangular enclosed area of approximately 4 acres defined to the east by a single rampart bank measuring up to 60ft wide and 6ft high with a partially buried ditch of up 35ft wide. It is within the council area of Wiltshire.
