Frodsham is a market town in Cheshire. It stands on the south bank of the River Weaver and close to where it enters the Mersey. In mediæval times, Frodsham was an important port belonging to the Earls of Chester. St Laurence's Church dates from around 1180. The town is within the council area of Cheshire West and Chester.
