Freshfield, Lancashire

Freshfield is an urban area in the north of Formby, Lancashire. The area took its name from Freshfields Station, opened in 1854. The area was previously known as "Old Town" and it the location of St Peter's Church, dating from around 1850. It is within the council area of Sefton.
