Fosse Way, Somerset

The Fosse Way is a Roman road which linked Isca Dumnoniorum (Exeter) and Lindum Colonia (Lincoln), part of the route crossing Somerset, from Crewkerne Turning in the county's south to just north of Batheaston in the county's north-east. To the south of Bath, the Fosse Way forms part of the A367. This stretch of the Fosse Way is within the council area of Bath and North East Somerset.
