Fosse Way, Somerset

The Fosse Way is a Roman road which linked Isca Dumnoniorum (Exeter) and Lindum Colonia (Lincoln), part of the route crossing Somerset, from Crewkerne Turning in the county's south to just north of Batheaston in the county's north-east. The stretch between Dinnington and Over Stratton runs along unclassified roads and tracks. This stretch of the Fosse Way is within the council area of Somerset.
