Fosse Way, Wiltshire

The Fosse Way is a Roman road which linked Isca Dumnoniorum (Exeter) and Lindum Colonia (Lincoln), part of the route crossing Wiltshire, mainly along unclassified roads and tracks. Three stretches of the Fosse Way form part of the Gloucestershire - Wiltshire border. The Wiltshire stretch of the Fosse Way is within the council area of Wiltshire.
