Fosse Way, Nottinghamshire

The Fosse Way is a Roman road which linked Isca Dumnoniorum (Exeter) and Lindum Colonia (Lincoln), part of the route crossing Nottinghamshire, from Six Hills in the county's south to Potter Hill in the county's east. The Fosse Way forms part of the A46 throughout most of its route through Nottinghamshire, including the section to the north of Six Hills. This stretch of the Fosse way is within the council area of Rushcliffe (Nottinghamshire).
