Forth Bridge, West Lothian / Fife
The Forth Bridge is an iconic cantilever railway bridge crossing the Firth of Forth between West Lothian and Fife. It was opened on 4 March 1890 and spans a total length of 8,296ft. Until 1917, the Forth Bridge had the longest single cantilever bridge span in the world. It is within the council areas of Fife and City of Edinburgh.
