Flixton, Lancashire
Flixton is a suburban village in Lancashire. It lies on the north bank of the River Mersey. It is often considered to be a part of Urmston. The village grew to become a middle-class suburb of Manchester following the arrival of the railway in 1873. The village is within the council area of Trafford.
