Ferry Bridge, Yorkshire
Ferry Bridge is an early 19th-century bridge across the River Aire at Ferrybridge, Yorkshire, in the West Riding. The bridge is the latest in a succession of bridges across the river here, the earliest possibly in Saxon times. The current bridge was designed by John Carr of York and contructed by Bernard Hartley in 1804. It is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
