Ferndale, Glamorgan

Ferndale is a small town in the Rhondda Valley in Glamorgan. Ferndale was the first community to be intensively industrialised in the Rhondda Valley. The town's Welsh name, Glynrhedynog, is the name of one of the old farms on which the town is built. The town is within the council area of Rhondda Cynon Taf.
