Fenny Stratford, Buckinghamshire

Fenny Stratford is a town in Buckinghamshire. The ancient market ceased to be held after the town was badly hit by plague in 1665. St Martin's Church and the "Fenny Poppers" (six ceremonial canons) date from the 18th century. Since the 1970s Fenny Stratford has been a constituent town of the new town of Milton Keynes, though it retains a distinct identity. The town is within the council area of Milton Keynes.
