Felixstowe, Suffolk

Felixstowe is a port and resort town in Suffolk. Though the town The town only became a major port in 1886, the Port of Felixstowe is now the largest container port in the United Kingdom. Landguard Fort, originally constructed in 1540, stands at the mouth of the River Orwell. designed to guard the mouth of the river. The town is within the council area of East Suffolk (Suffolk).
