Featherstone Castle, Northumberland

Featherstone Castle is a large Gothic style country mansion in Northumberland. In the 11th century the manor house on this site belonged to the Featherstone family and played an important role in the battles between the English and the Scots. It served as Hillbrow School between 1950 and 1961. It is within the council area of Northumberland.
