Farnborough, Kent
Farnborough is a village in Kent. The village evolved on the main road from London to Hastings. 20th-century development saw the village become contiguous with Orpington's outer western suburbs, though its location on the edge of the green belt preserves its countryside setting. St Giles Church was rebuilt after a storm destroyed its predecessor in 1639. The village is within the council area of Bromley.
