Fairlight Cliffs, Sussex
Fairlight Cliffs is a stretch of coastline between Fairlight and Cliff End in Sussex. This marks the location of the Haddock’s Fault, which was formed about 35 million years ago when the African continent collided with Europe, forming the Alps and uplifting south-east England. The site is in the care of the National Trust. It is within the council area of Rother (East Sussex).
