Eythrope, Buckinghamshire
Eythrope is a deserted mediæval village lying on the eastern edge of Eythorpe Park in Buckinghamshire. The history of the village of Eythrope is largely undocumented and its date of desertion unknown, although this may have been a consequence of emparkment. To the north and south of the village of Eythrope is the characteristic corduroy pattern of the open fields worked by the villagers. The site is within the council area of Buckinghamshire.
