Exmoor National Park, Somerset / Devon
Exmoor National Park is a National Park, designated in 1954, situated in the west of Somerset and the north-east of Devon. It comprises a much larger area than the former Royal Forest of Exmoor (aka Exmoor Forest) in western Somerset. It also includes the Brendon Hills, the East Lyn Valley, the Vale of Porlock and a 34 mile stretch of the Bristol Channel coast. The National Park lies within the council areas of Somerset and North Devon (Devon).
