Ewloe Castle, Flintshire
Ewloe Castle (Welsh: Castell Ewlo) is a native Welsh castle near Ewloe, Flintshire. It was one of last fortifications built by the native Princes of Wales, being abandoned at the beginning of the invasion of Wales by Edward I in 1277. It is in the care of Cadw. It is within the council area of Flintshire.
