Ewenny Priory, Glamorgan
Ewenny Priory (Priordy Ewenni) is a former Benedictine monastery in Ewenny, Glamorgan. Founded in the 12th century, the priory was unusual in having extensive military-style defences. Architectural historian John Newman described it as “the most complete and impressive Norman ecclesiastical building in Glamorgan”. It is within the council area of The Vale of Glamorgan.
