Eton, Buckinghamshire
Eton is a town in Buckinghamshire. It stands on the north bank of the River Thames, across the river from Windsor (in Berkshire) to which it is connected by Windsor Bridge. Eton is best known for Eton College, funded in the Middle Ages and possibly the most famous public school in England. The town is within the council area of Windsor and Maidenhead.
