Erskine, Renfrewshire
Erskine is a town in Renfrewshire, on the southern bank of the River Clyde. The Erskine Bridge connects Erskine on the south bank with Old Kilpatrick in Dunbartonshire on the north. The bridge is the furthest west crossing point on the river. Originally a small village settlement, Erskine has expanded since the 1970s as a new town. The town is within the council area of Renfrewshire.
