Epworth, Lincolnshire
Epworth is a small town in Lincolnshire, in the Parts of Lindsey, on the Isle of Axholme. It is the birthplace of John Wesley and Charles Wesley, whose father was the Rector of Epworth from 1695 to 1735. The Old Rectory, a Queen Anne style building, is maintained as a museum by the World Methodist Council. The town is within the council area of North Lincolnshire.
