Elmers End, Kent

Elmers End is a former hamlet that is now a south-western suburb of Beckenham, Kent. Elmers End railway station opened in 1864 close to the hamlet then marked by Ordnance Survey as 'LowerElmEnd', lying on the western edge of Eden Park. Development proceeded from the late 19th around the station and the hamlet, with further suburban development in the 20th century. The area is within the council area of Bromley.
