Eleanor Cross, Yorkshire
Eleanor Cross is a late 19th-century village cross in Sledmere, Yorkshire, in the East Riding. The cross was designed by Temple Lushington Moore, closely modelled on the 13th-century Eleanor cross at Hardingstone, Northamptonshire. The cross was redesigned as a war memorial in 1918. It is within the council area of East Riding of Yorkshire.
