Egbury Camp, Hampshire
Egbury Camp is the remains of a probable Roman enclosed settlement near St Mary Bourne, Hampshire. It is a kite-shaped enclosed with an enclosed area of about 12 acres. The assignment of the camp to being Roman derived from Roman coins having been found at the site. Other authors have suggested it is prehistoric. The monument is within the council area of Basingstoke and Deane (Hampshire).
