Efford, Devon
Efford is a former hamlet that is now a suburb in the east of Plymouth, Devon. It stands on high ground above the River Plym. It was anciently a manor, listed in Domesday as 'Elforde'. Efford Cemetery was opened in 1907. Efford remained a hamlet until after World War II since when it has seen large-scale suburban development. It is within the council area of Plymouth.
