Notwithstanding the many newer houses, the old village centre is still identifiable around a triangular village green. Eaton Ford, along with Eaton Socon, effectively forms a single urban area with St Neots in Huntingdonshire. The village is within the council area of Huntingdonshire (Cambridgeshire)
