Eastney is a former hamlet that is now an urban area in Portsmouth, Hampshire. It lies in the far south-east of Portsea Island, to the east of Southsea. Eastney Barracks opened in 1867, following which the area around the barracks was developed for housing. It is within the council area of Portsmouth.
