East Tanfield, Yorkshire
East Tanfield is a deserted mediæval village near Thornborough in Yorkshire, in the North Riding. Mentioned in Domesday, it appears to have been deserted in the 16th century. The village site lies near Manor Farm (the former manor house) on the banks of the River Ure. It is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
