Duddingston, Midlothian
Duddingston is a historic village in Midlothian, dating from the 1100s. It forms a suburb to the east of Edinburgh. The Sheep Heid Inn is said to be Scotland's oldest pub, dating from 1360. Duddingston Loch has been a nature reserve since 1923. Duddingston Kirk is a Norman style Church built in the early 1100s. Duddingston is within the council area of City of Edinburgh.
