Drumgormal Bivallate Rath, Tyrone
Drumgormal Bivallate Rath is a bivallate rath, located on a prominent summit in the townland of Drumgormal, County Tyrone. The monument comprises a low bank around the circular central area (diameter about 110ft), which slopes slightly to the south. Next comes a deep ditch, then a second bank and an outer ditch, best preserved on the south side. The rath was planted with trees as a landscape feature in the former estate of Drumcairne House. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Mid Ulster.
