MenuDrumbo, Down
Drumbo is a small village in County Down. It is within the townland of Drumbo, in the civil parish of Drumbo. Drumbo round tower dates from the early mediæval period. It is believed to have been part of a monastery and built here for the site's panoramic views over the Lagan Valley. It stands beside the ruins of a mediæval parish church, all in the graveyard of the current Drumbo Presbyterian Church (1882). Drumbo National School, now an Orange Lodge, was built in 1836. The village is within the council area of Lisburn and Castlereagh.
