Drumaroad, Down
Drumaroad is a small village in County Down. It is within the townland of Drumaroad, in the civil parish of Loughinisland. The present St John the Baptist Church (RC), built in 1841, was preceded by a thatched mass house from around the 1730s. A National School was first established in the mid 19th century, the present primary school being built in 1898. The village is within the council area of Newry, Mourne and Down.
